SWCD NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY

The Montgomery Co. Soil & Water Conservation District is now accepting applications for conservation best management practices that address water quality.  interior cross fencingFollowing a site visit for eligibility and approval, applicants will receive up to 85% cost reimbursement.  Applications are accepted continuously and are first come first serve.  DO NOT WAIT TO APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE.   Contact Nancy for more information/turn in an FY 2022 APPLICATION, 931-368-0252 x 3.  Eligible practices include:

1Completed Grade Stabilization and Grass Waterway.

  • pipeline
  • feed pad
  • grassed waterways (erosion control)
  • stream crossings
  • grade stabilization structures
  • streambank stabilization
  • cover crops
