NEW!! One of the many purposes of the Soil Conservation District is to assist farmers in improving conservation on the farm while increasing agricultural production. The Cumberland River Compact through the Montgomery SCD has made available a 2 row, no-till SETTER and ROLLER CRIMPER for use in Montgomery and surrounding counties. Use of the transplanter increases soil health and prevents soil erosion by utilizing no-till planting practices.
