The research team with the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville is interested in understanding what characteristics are most valued in hay products. They are gathering information that aims at better understanding what people value in hay when used as a feedstuff.

Below is a national survey curated towards industry participants for hay products and usage. Desired responses include any agricultural producer that buys, sells, and/or feeds hay. Results will aid in the pursuit of a more complete pricing model for hay and other related forages.

Survey can be found here: National Hay Price Determinants Survey

For any questions regarding the project, feel free to contact Timothy at tray19@vols.utk.edu or by phone at (423)735-8292. Additional contact information is available on the first page of the survey.
