FT CAMPBELL FARMLAND FOR LEASE

US Army Corps of Engineers has issued an Invitation For Bid for 15 tracts of land available to lease for agricultural purposes on Fort Campbell. There are a few standardized requirements for leasing land on Fort Campbell.

Leases are 5 years, with an option of an additional 5 years. No till farming practices, rotational row crops, and cover crops are required. Lessees will have required mowing, soil tests, and monthly pesticide reports. Lessees also need to remember that they are not compensated for crop or field damage. Troops have a responsibility to try to avoid unnecessary damage to leased fields.
