2025 APPLICATION WINDOW NOW OPEN –deadline nov. 15

Thinking and planning ahead for funding assistance on your farm is crucial.  Our office is now accepting applications for Fiscal Year 2025 for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program, Conservation Stewardship Program, Regional Conservation Partnership Program, Agricultural Conservation Easement Program and Agricultural Resources Conservation Fund.

These programs come alongside the producer to offer funding assistance to address resource concerns on the land by installing ‘conservation smart practices’.  Funding is available to producers for priorities such as soil health, water quality and quantity and wildlife habitat development.  Technical and financial assistance for conservation practices include organic as well as traditional producers, including cover crops, integrated pest management, drip irrigation, high tunnels, soil health management systems, weed/pest management, livestock watering facilities, heavy use areas, cross fencing, cover crops and more.

Applications are accepted year round, but the first application cutoff and contracting period is November 15, 2025.  Pre-installed practices will not be eligible for application. Preapprovals will be tentatively announced January to March 2025.  For more information or to apply for assistance on your farm in Montgomery County, contact our office – 931-368-0252 x 3.

The programs and services of the Soil and Water Conservation District offered are available on a nondiscriminatory basis without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, marital status, or handicap.  USDA is an equal opportunity provider, employer and lender.
