MONTGOMERY STUDENTS PLACE IN ’21 ENVIROTHON COMPETITION

We are especially proud of Montgomery students this year as they persevered despite pandemic restrictions to compete in the annual ENVIROTHON (virtually)!

Northwest High School FFA ended up taking 3rd place regionally in Wildlife and Clarksville High School FFA taking 1st place in Forestry!

Montgomery County students competed in this year’s ENVIROTHON virtually over the course of three days, which took place April 13-15. Students were tested on their skills and knowledge of our natural resources in five categories: wildlife, forestry, soils, aquatics, and special category:  water resources management – local control and local solutions.  First place teams will advance to the Nationals held this year and hosted by Nebraska Association of Resources Districts.
